GYMNAST DRESS CODE:

Dynamacro Gymnastics Academy policy on appropriate dress for gymnastics activity/class sessions.

It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that children are appropriately dressed for class. This includes the removal of jewellery and the securing of hair etc.  

Coaches have the right to refuse to allow children to participate on the grounds of health & safety if they attend inappropriately dressed.

    • Footwear: Bare feet are usually best, but soft, non-slip socks can be worn if needed.
    • Outfit: A comfortable leotard, t-shirt (short or long sleeve) and/or shorts and leggings are required.
    • Hair: Must be tied back or secured completely off the face. Long hair must be secured in a ponytail(s). Soft hair ties only and flat hair clips.
    • Jewellery: The wearing of any jewellery whatsoever is strictly prohibited for gymnastics activities. This includes watches, necklace, rings, bracelets, earrings and any other piercings, which must be removed for gymnastics class.
    • Electronics: Mobile phones & EarPods are not permitted during class. If a parent requires their teenage child to always have a mobile phone with them during sporting activities, then the phone must be placed in the clubs designated phone box until the end of the class.

The following clothing is NOT permitted for gymnasts:

  • Strapless tops.
  • Hoodies.
  • Jeans or casual trousers.
  • School uniform.
  • Dresses or skirts.
  • Clothing may not have studs, ribbons, buttons, zips or any protruding adornments.
  • Clothing that is baggy/loose fitting are no permitted
